Welcome to Unity of Independence!
We are a thriving community of people who are “spiritual, but not religious." We are a welcoming community, and we honor all of the many paths to God. We honor the divine in ALL people, of all different beliefs and lifestyles. Our sanctuary is wheelchair accessible, and we do everything possible to accommodate those with disabilities. No matter who you are, or where you are on your spiritual journey – you are welcome in our community!
Everyone: Kindly fill out our annual info card to keep our database updated. Voting members are required to keep their info updated. Join us for our Annual Meeting on February 17 after the 10 a.m. service.

“Beliefs and Intentions—Part Two” by Rev. Tom Thorpe
As we become more fully conscious of our beliefs we become more able to recognize beliefs that work against our spiritual progress and take action to release and redirect the energy locked up in those beliefs. Our minds and hearts join in a unity of purpose. We reach a new level of Wholeness.

“Claiming Abundance” by Rev. Tom Thorpe
“I see abundance everywhere,” a classic Unity hymn begins. The hymn also declares, “I know my own shall come to me.” How do we describe abundance? Has our perception of abundance changed over our lifetime? Can we believe that abundance is ours right now, or is it always “just around the corner"?
